CCDB Errors every Weekend

Dear all,

 

we are using technical monitoring via SAP SolMan. After a couple of weeks everything is configured now and thresholds are well adjusted.

 

But there is one behavior which is very disturbing. Every weekend we get notifications for CCDB errors (CCDB Health Check), telling us that an extractor did not perform.

If I check the CCDB framework, I can see that there is an entry in the column of not-performed-extractors.

What I a also see there is, that the content is flagged as "out of date" (last update was 2 days ago).

 

 

My assumption is, that these error are related to downtimes of the managed systems (they are planned in the workmode management of SAP SolMan).

Is there CCDB job, which could fail because of the downtime or what could be the reason for those errors?

Error while creating a test plan "Project xxxxxx does not contain any test cases"

Hi Experts,

During the creation of a test plan I am getting an error as "project xxxxx does not contain any test cases", although there are few test cases already uploaded in solar02. Please help.

JOB: SAP_CCMS_MONI_BATCH_DP DUMPED

Hello everybody,

we've a Problem with the JOB: SAP_CCMS_MONI_BATCH_DP on our SOLUTIONMANAGER. This Job runs every 2 minutes but twice a day it dumped with the following error:

In the attached file you can see more informations about this DUMP. Does anybody has an solution or an idea to fix this error?

ZMCR Status change not possible

Resync of Technical System not possible due to missing Data Supplier in SOLMAN_SETUP

Dear Experts,

I am doing managed system configuration in SOLMAN 7.1 SR1.

I need to add one ABAP technical system. After RZ70 in ABAP system SLD got updated and technical system shows ABAP system but no other data is available(host,component versions,stc).

I checked SLD and it is having latest information but when i try to Resync from SLD i am getting error as "Resync of Technical System not possible due to missing Data Supplier"

Kindly give your valuable inputs since i am newbi in SOLMAN era.

 

System Details:

SOLMAN 7.1 SR1

OS: Windows server 2008 R2

DB: Oracle 11.0.3

SolMan DIA WPs getting blocked

Hello

 

The DIA WPs in SolMan 7.1 are lately blocked.

From the traces we have the following infos:

A  ABAP Program CL_LMDB_TX_CONTEXT============CP        .

A  Source CL_LMDB_TX_CONTEXT============CM00N      Line 31.

A  Error Code ASSERTION_FAILED.

A  Module abassert.c.

A  Function ab_aabAssertionFailedRabax Line 1880.

 

The DPMon is similar to:

1 DIA    24772 Run           yes   no     3 1376  GP003N8U 001 SM_EFWK

2 DIA    24940 Run           yes   no     2 1269  GP003N8U 001 SM_EFWK

 

 

Any Ideas?

Change the system role as a Sandbox system

Hi ChaRM Expert,

 

We are using Solution Manager 7.1 & SP 10.

 

In our project landscape, one system is already configure as a "Conversion#1" system role.

 

So,the requirement is to make that system as a "Sandbox" system and then the option will active in action tab "Transport into Sandbox".

 

Please guide the pre step as well as post step of this activities.

Error running CBTA: TAF_Controller.vbs has not been loaded

Dear Gurus.

 

 

Recently I did the setup for CBTA tool in a Solution Manager 7.1 SP 13, now I am able to record the script using CBTA  but at time to run it, the automated script fail with the following error:

 

ERROR: TAF_Controller.vbs has not been loaded in order to override the ActivateSessionListener method

Code: 800A271D

To try to fix it, we install the notes

 

2029868 - CBTA - Runtime Library - Fixes & Improvements

2175828 - CBTA - Test Script Execution fails - Library TAF_Controller.vbs has not been loaded

 

But the error still happening, thanks if you can help me with some ideas to fix it.

Checkpoint s not working in MMBE tcode

hi team,,

 

While recording the test script I have added the checkpoint in the tcode MMBE and used the checkpoint in the storage value and this checkpoint is not working while replaying the test script. This is not making the script to be failed also it passes the script and it would be helpful if somebody knows wat to do here.

Default use of system-specific transaction type?

Hello,

 

I have configured solman to use ZMIN as default transaction type in table DNOC_USERCFG, so all new incidents created are using it.

 

The new requirement is the following:

 

I want incidents that are coming from a specific SAP system to use another transaction type, for example YMIN, but all other systems and the solman itself should remain using ZMIN.

 

Is there any way to achieve this?

Escalation Smartforms with IRT/MPT times

Dear all

 

I am trying to figure out how to get SLA times shown in my Mails from Service Desk.

 

lets take an example.

 

I have customer with the following SLA values:

Priority 1

IRT 1 hour

MPT 4 hours.

 

I then have the standard setting of Warning at 80% and Escalation at 100%.

So after 48 minutes is the IRT warning activated and after 1 hour is the IRT Escalation mail activated.

 

So in the example is the Incident created at 9 AM, which means that the IRT warning should be tricked at 9.48.

 

So far so good.

 

The problem is then that I would like to include the SLA times in my mail to the dispatcher.

 

So in the mail do I need to show the times like this

SLA IRT Exceed at 10 AM.

 

As we have 25+ different customers with each 2 different SLA's for Incidents and Change Request, can I not just calculate it from the Creation time, so any good ideas on how to get the SMARTFORMS to show the SLA times, for when the IRT runs out and MPT runs out?

Monitor the Particular transaction codes

Technical monitoring on-wards we will activate particular templates and

assign to systems will getting mails according to metric levels.

 

But, My requirement is Monitor the Particular transaction codes (Ex:

DB02

SMQ1 SMQ2, DB13 ST06 ST02) solution manager to managed systems.

how we will get the monitor?

Please suggest any SAP reference guides and links.

Error Custom Code Management Setup in Part 7 Schedule Collector Jobs

Dear SAP Experts,

 

I have problem with setup CCLM in our solman system (ST 710 SP 13). the managed system is ECC 6 EHP 6.

I just configure from solman side from solman workcenter in custom code management menu.

There are errors when setup custom code in part 7. with details below:

 

Library Definition (yellow rated):

Schedule Collector Jobs (red rated):

 

SM_CCL:OBJ_ job was ended with error below when it run based on schedule, but i was ended completely when ATC framework was unticked (step 6.2).

Changing the requester in the RfC does not work

Dear Experts,

 

We have a scenario with our client, where a resource who raised a Request for Change (RfC) left the company and is replaced by another employee.

Now, there is a request pending on Old resource which needs to be completed.

 

I Changed the requester name in the RfC and the change worked successfully. The tricky part here is that the requester is also one of the approvers for the RFC (RFC has 3 level approval procedure).  One more thing that I want to mention here is that, the status of the RfC was in "To be approved" status when I changed the Requester name.

 

Now when the new requester logs into the RfC and tries to approve the RfC, the user gets an error "Approval must be made by assigned business Partner".

 

I somehow feel, that the change of requester is still not reflected in the backend. But the logs in CRM_UI show no error messages.

 

 

Kindly help me how to fix the issue.

EEM editor connection problem

Hi,

 

I was using an EEM editor through which I edited many scripts and uploaded it to Solman. I didnt use it for a month and now it is having connecction problem.

 

The SP level has not been changed during this period. It is Solman 7.1 SP03.

 

I also downloaded the editor again and tried but it shows agelet mismatch problem.\

 

Also there is an error

 

"Editor version 7.10.3.3.20120410160443 does not match the Agelet side 7.10.4.3.20120416114528

  Connection to EEM Repository (ABAP) Failed! Service call exception; nested exception is:

com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxrpc.exceptions.InvalidResponseCodeException: Invalid Response Code: (404) Not Found. The request URL was:"http://172.17.196.21:51000/sap/bc/srt/rfc/sap/AI_EEM_LIST_ALL_SCRIPTS/100/AI_EEM_LIST_ALL_SCRIPTS/AI_EEM_LIST_ALL_SCRIPTS". Check, whether the URL is correct, and the Web Service that you are requesting is up and running."

 

Can anybody suggest any solution.

ITSM- No description for some tickets

i did some customization on UI for some layouts on our SAP ITSM after that

there is no description appearing on the submitted tickets !

 

how to solve this issue , it will be ok if i can revert back to the default one
