Incident Management - First Reaction

Hi,

 

I am facing an issue in Incident Management where 'First Reaction' is not getting populated.

 

When status of Incident changes from 'New' to 'In Process', 'First Reaction' Date & Time should appear in 'Service Level Agreement' Assignment block. But this is not happening.

 

Can anybody tell me is it a bug OR some missing configuration.

How can I generate a URL link to a message in a Solman 7.1 web UI?

Dear all,

 

 

We are looking to find a way to generate a URL link in ABAP to a message in the Solman 7.1 web UI.

We want a URL link to the below page in order to save time navigating in the Solman 7.1 web UI.

Is there a way to do that?

Categorization in result list of incident

Hi!

I have Solution Manager 7.1

Appearance of Categorization 1,2, ect .. in result list of incidents or in
excel export… do not seem correct if it’s values contains dashes or commas.

To see examples of issue please log in in russian language and please see
screen shots bellow. Please, how doI fix this?

In categorization 1,2,3,4 the values are contained which is used for incident analysis:

These categorizations are downloaded to report and exported to Excel.

     The issue: for those values of Category fields which contain such signs as hyphen «-» or comma «,» the value is shifted to the next Category field.

 

 

For example:

 

  • On the picture below the marked service contains comma and hyphen

  • And downloaded to the report (Search result) in the form of:

  • This report (Search result) exported to Excel by pushing the button «Export…». In Excel the view is also incorrect:

Custom Status for incident in the solman_workcenter

Hi,

We have created a custom status for the incident management, but when we go  to the Incident management overview we are not seeing this status in the "Reported By Me" , "For Processing by Me", "Processing by my team". Any additional configurations need to be done to get this?

BO Integration with Solman 7.1

Hi,

 

 

Iam new to Business objects ,but read many notes and wikis. We are trying to connect BO with Solman SLD and perform the managed sys config, wily etc. For that I have some basic confusing questions.

 

1. We have single server (Dev box) carrying all the services like tomcat, CMC, Oracle,... etc. So to connect it to SLD. Should I just use sldreg and create connect.key to push the data or should I follow tomcat specific config to sync SLD data (like deploying .WAR file etc).

 

2. We have other prod with distributed environment and the services are distributed to individual servers  like Load balancer, Apache siteminder, Tomcat, BO intelligence (CMC,IFR,ES,CCS etc), CMC DB/Audit DB etc, BO processing server and finally Data source (each on separate server)

 

So to configure SLD data supplier... I understood here we need to follow tomcat specific conf on Tomcat server and normal sldreg on CMC server.

Apart from this, what other server should I configure SLD-DS and On what other server should I install Diag agents? What are the major servers/ comp for SLD_DS and Diag agents in a distributed environment for Solman monitoring.

 

Please suggest the config part to follow and share some details specific to distributed servers/components.

 

Also posted this question in BI Area, but I guess Solman is the right area to discuss this (so please do not feel is duplicate )

Hello All,

 

We are getiing JAVA EWA report in grey colour after upgrading solution manager 7.0 to 7.1 SP07. Please help me to resolve this issue.

 

 

Note: Abap EWA report is working fine

If its dual stack , ABAP is working fine but java data is missing.

Solution manager patching from 7.1 sp06 to 7.1 sp10

Hello all,

 

We are currently running solution manager 7.1sp06 with CHARM, system monitoring,CTS+ fully configured. We have around 50 satellite systems including ABAP,ABAP+JAVA and JAVA.

 

Now we are planning to upgrade it to SP10 , can you please help me on how to start planning this as we bit unsure what impact the patching will have on the existing functionalities

Does CBTA supports SAP Netweaver Business Client (NWBC)

I am having a requirement from my client. The clients want to know does CBTA supports NWBC (NetWeaver Business Client). My clients uses NWBC as standard-GUI (general user interface) for every SAP-system like ECC, SRM, SCM CRM, SolMan, eWM, BI, HCM, … etc.

ChaRM No link to maintenance cycle

Hi,

 

I have created one Urgent change & TR also got created. Transport Request is also released now.

 

Now I am facing issue 'No link to maintenance cycle'. I checked the issue & ChaRM project was not consistent. Now I made the ChaRM project consistent. But still I am facing 'No link to maintenance cycle' issue even after Recheck action.

 

On this urgent CD I get two actions 'Recheck Urgent Change' & 'Withdraw'. Current status of this Urgent CD is 'In Development'.

 

As a workaround I created one more Urgent change by extending scope & taken ahead this new Urgent change to Pre-prod & Production.

 

Now I want to withdraw old Urgenct Change which is having issue 'No link to maintenance cycle'. I can't withdraw this Urgenct change as Transport Request in this urgent change is released. Either I am not able to proceed as I am not getting next action 'Pass Urgent Change to Test'.

 

How can I close OR withdraw this Urgent Change, I am stuck both ways.

 

Any ways to close or withdraw this Urgent Change.

Hello Experts,

 

Can someone guide me on How to use BC sets through Solman 'solar02' configuration tab as i came to know that -

A Business Configuration set (BC Set) is a management tool that allows users to record, save and share customized settings. Customers can either use BC sets provided by SAP (for select industries) or create their own.

I gone through several links but not able to understand exactly that how i am going to record ,save and share customized settings for Business scenarios ,processes and process steps.??

EWA report grey for Production system but yellow for Quality system

Dear Team,

 

We have below Solution Manager  & Production system(3 instances) is ABAP based only.

 

SAP SOLUTION MANAGER 7.1 - ST-SER    701_2010_1    0010

 

For our Production cluster system, the EWA report is generating Gray report since  2 weeks(February 2014) whereas for Quality system it is working fine.

We have compared the ST/PI, ST/API and SAPOSCOL version from OS level. It is same as that of our Quality system.

 

 

As per note - 1332428 - Missing data in service sessions from BW/CCDB, below is stated :

 

1) If this update has occurred in Solution manager 7.1 , then this should reflect in QAS EWA report system too? But it is not happening why ??

2) We also checked the note 1827116 - Rating not determined (Grey) at SAP EarlyWatch Alert

but unable to match our below error. How do we remove the JAVA error from Solution Manager ??

 

Please guide me...

CBTA screen components for customer developments

Hello,

 

we are currently performing some investigations on CBTA and made this observation. If we record standard SAP GUI transactions we get a mix of screen- and standard components in our generated test scripts as we expected. But if we use CBTA to record come customer developments the generated test scripts only contains standard components.

 

Why are there no screen components for the customer developments too? Doesn't CBTA support screen components creation for customer developments?

SP10 Urgent/Normal Correction issue in Landscape Tab

Fellow Members,

 

I stumbled upon a strange issue in Landscape Tab of Change Document (Normal/Urgent) in SP10. When I have the retrofit system (Post Processing System) in the project; the Transport Status shows incorrect when the actual transport is done. For example XPL 250 is my Retrofit system, when I create a Urgent Change and import it to QAS system (XPL 200) the Transport status for XPL 250 system too shows "Imported" as seen below;

The actual TMS track is XPL 100 > XPL 200 > XPL 300 >XPL 400 and XPL 250 is Retrofit system.  Have any of you come across same issue?

ABAP queue check failed Error, While generating stack

I am getting a ABAP queue check failed error, while generating the STACK file for UI5 and FIORI (Attached).

 

Here are the system details:

Red traffic light on RFC Status in Managed Systems Configuration

Hello,

This is an annoying one.  In Solman on the Managed Systems Configuration tab, every morning when I come it all the RFC status traffic lights for every system in our landscape is red.  I go through them perform all the connection tests etc. and get them all green again but the following day.... back to red.

It's quite frustrating. 

Does anyone have any ideas ?

Time recording not visible in CRM UI

Hello,

 

I'm trying to activate Time Recording. I did all the steps from SPRO under Time Recording, but now I cannot see a special block in CRM UI when processing Incidents. There is no posibillity to enter time spent on ticket. But the reminder is working Could you please help me?

 

I'm using Solution Manager 7.1 SP7.

How to display a survey after incident message closed

Hello gurus,

I created a survey in CRM_SURVEY_SUITE.

I do not know how to make the survey display after incident messages has status "closed" and where can I see the results.

I searched in the web for an appropriate information, but I could not find any information or guide on how to do it.

If you know how to do it or find a documentation on how to resolve my issue, please advise me.
