I want to add one new repport to WEB UI in Solman 7.1
The standard repport AI_SDK_REPORT_EFFORT is fine but I created a new one called ZAI_SDK_REPORT_EFFORT, so the problem is:
1.- How can add this new repport to repports section in WEB UI page?
2.- Can I change this parameter for switch from AI_SDK_REPORT_EFFORT to ZAI_SDK_REPORT_EFFORT?

In terms of licensing - the right to install and use Solution Manager is included in the SAP Support agreement (standard or enterprise). However what if I (hypothetically) want to use SM only as a standalone ITSM tool and have no SAP landscape whatsoever? Is it possible? If so what licenses do I need to buy to accomplish this - users, cores, installations or whatever? I was not able to find this information so far, please help.

The system is a SAP Netweaver 7.5 AS Java.

Please help me how to recognize the road maps related to ECC application . Or what are the templates related to ECC application in SolMan Repository.

I have installed solution manager 7.1 and upgraded to SPS14 and completed post steps. Now when i execute t-code solman_setup the configuration screen appeared, then i selected System Preparation and clicked on Edit tab...the cursor on the screen shows it is processing...it is processing for hours and hours....and finally i realized that nothing is happening. So decided to take help from SCN. I am attaching the screenshots for reference. Your help and solution is highly appreciated.

Hi Experts,
There is a component version mismatch and due to this in an urgent change transports are not getting imported into test system on status change. As a result status change fails (To Be Tested) and resets back to 'In Development'.
So to import transport into test system import option 'Ignore invalid component version' needed to choose for each urgent change. Is there any way to automate transport import into test system (for urgent change only) having component version mismatch problem.

We have lot of existing HP QTP Test scripts at HP. These scripts are both transaction and E2E. We want to integrate our HP/ QTP with SAP Solution Manager. We had refer :How to adapter guide & SAP-QTP integration guide. But in most of the documents scrip creation start from Solution Manager and it get saved in Solman only.
So, how can I transfer my existing QTP scripts from HP to Solman SOLAR02-Test case data.
Also can anybody update like is it require to transfer also. If I transfer my solution manager blueprint structure to HP, then Can I use and assign my existing HP script to this transferred structure in HP? And transfer the result from HP to Solman?

Hi All,
I've recently updated Solution Manager to 7.1 SPS14 but when I try to update the content section 2.7 of Technical Monitoring I get an error
Error while extracting file STCONT10016_0-10011958.SAR; download not possible,error code 16-SAPCAR: Error category >LOGGABLE_WARNING<
I even tried doing this manually using this blog How to Manually Update the Technical Monitoring Content
But get the same error!
Any idea what might be causing this and how do I correct it?

We are trying to integrate HP ALM with ITSM. From our understanding, when a defect is created in ALM, a corresponding ITSM incident can be created automatically. Just like to ask if there is a user mapping for the user in ALM and the user in SolMan ? How will defects be created in SolMan - will it use the same user logged in ALM?

We need to setup ChaRM for 5-tier landscape, such that the landscape looks like: DEV -> SIT -> UAT -> PRE-PROD -> PROD
Please suggest with the related customizations involved.
Because I know with the Standard flow we have the status "To be Tested" that needs to be modified in two different steps (For SIT & UAT)
And more-over we need to define roles of systems in logical component (Not sure, If I should assign SIT system as Evaluation System or Quality System)

Hi experts,
I need an opinion about this issue, my level of English is not the best, so I hope you understand. 
We are use Change Request Management in our Company, so we created the custom transaction types (YMCR - YMMJ - YMHF) to manage our changes (RFC - Normal Changes -Urgent Changes).
We create a YMCR with one YMMJ releted transaction. Both transactions was following the flow normally, YMCR was "Being Implemented" status and YMMJ was "Release for production" status.
While the user was waiting until the import of transport request into production system, he change the status of YMCR to "Extend Scope", then he pass to "To Be Approved" (The user has little knowledge on the tool and do this for no reason.). After this the person who mades the import into production pass the YMMJ to "Imported into production", so the YMCR automatically pass to "Implemented". But, like the YMCR had been "To Be Approved" status previusly, the change manager approve the YMCR and pass from "Implemented" status to "Approved" status.
Now, YMCR was "Being implemented" status but we don´t be able to pass to "Implemented" status again. Is there any process, report or any way to set this status again???

we are updating our Solution Manager from SP10 to SP14.
We are facing issue during configuration phase (JAVA Part - Transfer ABAP Usages Information Steps)
The main relevant error is:
Assertion failed for (Usage with name:sap.com/CRM-APPwas not found in target release usages object (property: allUsages)) at com.sap.sdt.util.diag.SDT.check(SDT.java:38).
We are using SUM SP16 Patch 11
Do you have any advice?
