Where are the actual documents stored in solution manager (KW)?

Hello,

 

I have a question regarding Solution Manager and storing documentation.

 

When we in our process structure in a project uploads a word document

(as documentation), where are the file then physically stored?

 

I have checked the table SA01PHIO (a KW table), here I see a new entry every time I

upload a new word document (or other type of documentation). But this

table does not grow accordingly to the size of the word documents I

upload, so the physical document must be stored somewhere else in the

database.

 

The description of field 'PHIO_ID' in table SA01PHIO is "Physical document", but since the field is of type char (size 32), then it can only be a link to the actual file?

 

We need to know where the documents are stored, so that we can plan our

storage strategy and database space management accordingly.

 

Anyone knows where the files are stored in the database?

Solman Extractors for UNIX Java Stack error about Windows File System!

Hi All,

 

I've got a 3 system Java landscape running on HPUX and all 3 have errors for the following extractors :-

CONFIGURATION (SAP J2EE ENGINE CONFIGURATION)

CONFIGURATION (CENTRAL TECHNICAL CONFIGURATION)

 

The error states :-

Cannot access temporary directory <C:\WINDOWS\TEMP>. Please check that directory exists and that it is accessible by the SAP J2EE Engine User.

 

I've reconfigured these managed systems and even deleted these extractors but these errors keep appearing.

 

What do I need to do to resolve this and where is it getting this information from?

Solman Extractors CONFIGURATION (WEB SERVICE) Error

Hi All,

 

Sorry it's me again, could have posted this in the other thread but you usually get told off for that sort of thing so here is another!

 

For each of my JAVA Stack systems Solman included I am seeing this error :-

 

Exception while accessing Web Service - cause: Service call exception; nested exception is:

java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused (port 53000 to address 127.0.0.1 (localhost))

For the extracts for CONFIGURATION (WEB SERVICE) except for production java stacks which don't show the port or address in the error.

 

Exception while accessing Web Service - cause: Service call exception; nested exception is:

java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect

 

Any ideas what is causing this and how do I resolve?

which cube are used for BPMON on MAI

Hello expert,

 

I'm trying to prepare a migration of my BPMON solution based on old framework to the new framework.

In the old configuration I have created a post-processor function module. This FM prepare a csv file which is consume by an external application.

So can I reuse this FM on the new BPMON infrastructure?

Is the 0SM_BPM cube always use or others cubes are populated with the new BPMON? If yes which cubes are used?

We have created Bex report with several types of KPI.

Is monitoring objects always have a personnal identification like MONID?

how to Display user ID instead of BP

On ITSM system how can i display the login ID (shich in GUI/SU01) of every business partner on My data page or when we click on

the name of the creator of Incident/Service .

 

no issue if will display both but we need to show the login I. i know all are available on BUT000 table

but how to show. please see my snapshot

Mopz stuck at "select files" phase

Hello,


We need to apply BI java and ADS support packages to our existing SAP NETWEAVER 7.4 Portal system.


But, while running mopzs in solution manager, mopz got stuck at select files phase and the same phase is running for a long time.


Our solman version is SAP SOLUTION MANAGER 7.1 SPS13.


I have tried following


1. Withdrawing all the MOPZs transactions which are in selection state in solman_workcenter TC.

2. deleting browser history.

3. checked SAP-OSS rfc - this is working fine.

4. The ID with which i am running mopz is already maintained in AISUSER.

5. Restarted the solution manager system.


But still facing the same issue.


Any Ideas how to solve this?

Reported by empty when creating message from ECC

All,

 

When we are creating a message from ECC, an incident is getting created but the Reported by field is coming as blank. Do you know of any settings that will populate the reported by field.

 

This is required to send an email to the user creating the message and if the Reported by is blank, then the email cannot be sent.

 

This is only for the scenario when message is created from ECC.

"Retrofit Needed" substatus appear in Project line

Hi Expert,

 

We are using Solman 7.1 & SP 10.

 

Actually issue is retrofit  needed option appear in project line."Retrofit Needed" Status is showing up for a non maintenance project .
This is not suppose to happen in project line.


Please advice how can I stop this.

non-SAP Monitoring - status propagation for availability

Dear experts

 

I've implemented EEM and remarked, that EEM will not alert in case the robots are no longer available. In order to monitor their availability, I configured the roboters within the technical monitoring as non-SAP systems.

 

The Technical System is of type "Unspecified Cluster System" containing 4 instances (the actual robots). This leads to the following landscape within the technical monitoring (just great, I think):

The following metrics are active for host-monitoring:

  • Availability
    • SAP Host Agent Availability
    • Host Network Availability
  • Performance
    • CPU
      • CPU User Utilization
      • CPU System Utilization
      • CPU Idle (without I/O Wait)
      • CPU I/O Wait
    • Memory
      • Free Memory
      • Free Memory [%]
  • Host Exception
    • File System Free (MB)

 

As you might have remarked on the screen shot, the monitoring of the technical system just showes the "Performance" propagated from technical instance (propagated from host) but neither availability or exception.

 

Has anyone of you an idea what went wrong? Do I need additional metrics to be active in order to be able to have the availability state propagated from host to technical instance to technical system?

PS: as you also might have remarked, I've temporarly added a custom metric on technical instance for availability monitoring and alerting. This was needed for alerting using instance-names (different from host names).

"Imported into production" without import transport

Hi Expert,

 

We are using Solman 7.1 & SP 10

 

In Normal Change status is set to be "Imported into production" but the transport is not in Production (or even stage). How can status be "Imported into Production"?

 

Error

 

Diagnosis

The system could not determine whether the production system has the correction, or at least one transport request was not imported into the production system.

System Response

The transaction is incorrect or the status has been reset by the system.

Procedure

You can try again to complete the import in the transaction by double-clicking the error message in the application log and then resaving the transaction. If the error message still appears, there is a technical problem.

Procedure for System Administration

Check the task list and the transport logs. If there was an import error which you have resolved, you can set the import status of the failed transport to "Repaired" in the task list with the "General Function" "Correct Import Errors Manually". You can then continue with your process.

ST-A/PI 01Q_700 not supporting for solman 7.1 sp8

Hi,

We have solution manager 7.1 SP8 and have udapted all the patches as per the recommendation from RTCCTOOL.We have installed ST-A/PI 01Q_700 on  solman system which is the latest version but it is asking for the lower version ST-A/PI 01P_700  for solman pre-requisite during managed system configuration.Could you please provide some suggestion on how we can resolve this .

Hello,

 

After upgrading to 7.1 SP12 there is the error "ST-A/PI 01Q_700 is not installed" for the Solution Manger system and the satellite systems in Managed System Configuration > 2 . Check Prerequisites. The Solution Manger system and the satellite systems have ST-A/PI 01R_700 0000 installed as recommended in 69455 - Servicetools for Applications ST-A/PI (ST14, RTCCTOOL, ST12).

 

RTCCTOOL has been run on the Solution Manger system and is green for ST-A/PI. After searching notes and SCN have not seen an answer to this issue.


Does anyone know of a way to have theCheck Prerequisites used ST-A/PI 01R_700 0000 that comes with 7.1 SP12?

SAP TAO Error while Automating Web SAP Portal

Hello All,
The below is our scenario. We are creating PFA's using SAP TAO 3.0.6.1 to automate the SAP Web Portal which was developed in ABAP Webdynpro. We are able to create the PFA successfully and upload it to ALM but when we run the PFA from the Test Plan in ALM, we are getting an error saying
"ERROR DETECTED * Error: -2146233088 Description: Inconsistent state - Invalid session Id - <>Source: SAPTAOTestPlayer".
Can you please suggest us what is this error, is it something related to the patch that we need to work with the Basis team?
When we do the self-check, we are facing the no errors.

Backround:

 

In our organisation not every member should have the opportunity to forward (send) an incident to SAP. Therefore, we would like to build authorization units and allocate the relevant members to the correct unit. Unfortunately we have no idea how to move on.

Issues Applying Templates for Technical Monitoring in Solution Manager 7.1

All,

 

We are in process of setting up system monitoring for itself solution manager PRD system and as a part of this process, we have completed all configuration steps ( system,basic and managed config) but during system monitoring we encountered issue in section 6 setup monitoring for solution manager PRD <sid>~java technical instance ( red colour) .

 

Checked in Tcode SLG1 and I can see below error

I have verified basic steps again for Wily introscope and it is up and running, checked Tcode CCDB for extractor errors found nothing and applied note 2232341 but issue persists. We are on SP14 7.1 and using latest  CIM/CR, etc.

Unfortunately, we never experienced issue on Solman DEV box

 

Any solution ? Is it a new bug on SP14??

 

I have attached screenshots...please check and let me know if you can provide some solution.

Rapid Content Delivery CSU_INFO.XML error

Hi, all.

 

Trying to update content from step 2.7 in techmon, getting an error that I can't get past.  I get to step 2.7 Update Content, see that there is a download pending (v16).  Click on teh link to download, it takes me to the RCD screen where I select Version 16 and start the download job.

 

 

Job SM: CSU_DOWNLOAD_DELIVERY  fails pretty quickly with "Error while writing file CSU_INFO.XML", for which I've found zero detail either here or on SMP.  I've gone through all the notes I could find for RCD, no luck so far.  The auto download of the updates is working, but I can't apply them.  Rather annoying, since this did work not too long ago with v12 of the version update.

 

I get the same error when I try to do a manual update, the log then shows "Invalid Content XML" with no details whatsoever.  And I'm not seeing any errors in any logs I've looked at (st22, slg, sm21, OS level) unless I"m just not finding the problem.

 

RCD shows a message (green check) that says "Import of Content MAI with Registered Version 1 not possible".  I'm guessing that this is because of the failure of the download job, but not really clear (and not a lot of info available there either).

 

SM:RCD_CHECK_UPDATES job runs fine, SMPAUDWNLD RFC works fine. 

 

Anyone have any hints?  This is just an annoyance on a Friday afternoon..

In this part, the Custom Duration field is made available in the Web UI configuration for the relevant document type.

The sample requirement discussed in Blog 1 and 2 is again used for Part 3.This is the sample requirement in context of Part 1/2 of the Blog –

 

When an Incident has been forwarded, the requirement is to send a Reminder/escalation email after a specific wait time if the Status is still unchanged.


 

 

Below are the Steps:

Custom Enhancement has to be created for the Standard component (In my Case it is Incident) AIC_INCIDENT_H. This has to be done before proceeding with the required settings for the Custom Context nodes.

The Superclass in the Context node’s Implementation class is changed to CL_CRM_UIU_BT_DATE_CN to handle dates.

Delete the Check for the errors (Remove the extra Base_Entity_Name attribute from the class) and activate.

Log off and Logon to see the Attribute ‘Date’ available under the new custom node.

The below steps were done different from that of the blog to match to the DURATION specific requirement.

 

 

In the ‘ON_NEW_FOCUS’ method the replacement code was updated as below to refer the Z_FWDDURA duration created in SPRO date profile.

TIP : ***For Date, it is T and for duration, it is D for lv_category. The LV_date_type is the Date type or the Duration id defined in the Date Profile***

 

The GETTER and SETTER methods were activated for all the attributes below Date attribute (This may not be required- Did this as trial and error for getting troubleshooting ‘Not Bound’ text in the value of the field in the Web UI).
