Repeated email Trigerring on single action

Hi ,,

 

 

I have trigerring email to with action merge option as "Max 1 action for each action definition" but it is resptricting it to a single time process when returning back to same status it is not trigerring.

 

then i have tried with "Max 1 unprocessed action for each action definition " but this is trgieering mail many times to the single action.

 

 

I am using workflow for trigerring of mail

But it is trigerring to many times.

 

I have tried implementing note

 

865619 - Actions should only be scheduled if status is newly set .

 

but is not working properly as expected.

 

Kindly suggest if any one know.

Data Separation in Solman 7.1 SP12

We have implemented technical monitoring in Solman 7.1 SP12 succesfully in our company. Now we want to extend this funcionality to others users, but we are facing problems with authorizations to avoid a user can view systems and alerts out of his control.  We have create a test user as a copy of SM_L1 (Step 3 in Technical monitoring -> Standard Users), but this user see all systems and alerts in Alert Inbox. Modifying the role I have got to filter only for one system in Technical Monitoring->System Monitoring, but the user continues having access to all alerts in Alert Inbox.

 

As far as I know we can use data separation for MOPz and it works fine, but my question is if is it possible for technical monitoring scenario.

 

I have review information about to assign Business Partner in LMDB, but It does not influence in my case. I do not want to configure data separation in my Solman if it is not obligatory. because we would need to create all infrastructure around it.

 

Let me know if you have more information about it

transport hanging towards one system only

Hello,

 

SolMan runs CTS+ and we transport to all our java systems from Solman.

For some reasons, the transport to one of our system doesn't work anymore.

If i go to STMS - system overview and make a 'transport tool' check, it just hangs forever.

The transport tool checks work fine for all other java systems.

There is no relevant info or errors in the logs.

 

Restarting SolMan java stack or target system doesn't help.

 

Has anybody ever experienced similar situation ?

 

Actually we had the same problem once with another system-id and the only thing that helped was a full restart of SolMan (i.e. ABAP + java stacks).

So i'm assuming there is kind of a lock on Solman side but i cannot find out where it would be.

Need Help: Log is not appearing in text assignment block

Hi All,

 

We are running Solman 7.1 SP11. We are about to roll out the ChaRM project.

 

I had been doing testing for Normal Change in ChaRM and when I create an extended scope (Urgent Change) the text log disappeared.

It was working fine in the development environment. Are there anywhere I can go to check the settings or configuration?

Error in CA introscope step in solman-setup

Hi All,

 

I am facing a problem in configuring CA introscope step in solman_setup

 

we have entrprise manager upgraded and SMD agent is installed.

 

When i gave the EM path and diagnostics agent, it fetched the details and step is ok.

 

but i got a warning that host is unknown provide a valid host.

 

After that when i gave the connection user in user maangement the status became red.

 

and the EM is getting down.

 

due to this the self monitoring scenario is also not successfully executed.

 

kindly guide to resolve the issue.

Technical Monitoring - Monitoring "Update is active" (Sm14)

today we had the problem, that SM14 was deactivated - don't not yet why.

 

But is there a monitor in Technical monitoring, which I can use for an alert in case of stopped update process (SM14)?

 

CCMS would be also ok

Business Partner in LMDB

Hi all,

 

In our Solution Manager 7.10 SP12 we are filling the value for Sold-To Party in Technical System, in this case business partner 53 for CRD00004

Seems like if this value is not populate to the other components inside CRD00004. For example in Alert Inbox in Technical Monitoring we have 3 alerts for the same system, but the field Sold-To Party is only filled in CRD00004~ABAP, and is empty in the others

The same issue occurs if the alert is in Managed Objects like Database or Hosts. I have tried to fill this information in LMDB for database and host but the tab Business Partner is not available in these cases.

 

Does anyone know how we can fill this information?

Targer Principal in Incorrect

I was unsure which subject to post this under and as could've fallen under 2 or 3.

 

Basically I'm running through the Managed System Config on Sol Man for an ECC QAS system.  The DEV system ran through fairly easily.  QAS is not quite the case.

 

Step 5:  Enter System Parameters > DB Parameters

 

I've used Windows Authentication (like I did with the DEV system) with an appropriate domain user and password.

 

But I'm seeing the following error:

 

SQL error 2146893022- : SQL Server Network Interfaces: The target principal name is incorrect.


Searching online hasn't thrown up much by way of a solution and my SQL knowledge is almost Zero. To be honest, I'm not even sure what it means by Target Principal!


This may well be a Windows and/or SQL issue but thought I'd try here first and see if anyone has seen this before.

Text Determination issue

Hi ,

 

For some of my statuses  the Text is not coming exactly the same.

For few costomized status it is copming properly, but for few it is not coming.

 

Can anyone suggest what is the reason for it .

 

I have sued the Table TJ30T and ESTAT feild for saving the Statuses.

SUM DEPLOY-JAVACORE error

Hi,

 

I got new error during the Solman upgrade sp12 from 10.

The execution phase, DEPLOY-JAVACORE error.

 

I checked logs and I found that java kernel doesn't exist in Shadow instance 03.

 

Question.

Can I copy java kernel and modify some property files?

Normal Change without Transport of Copies?

Hi Solman Experts !

 

I am currently involved in a ChaRM implementation where the client is interested in not using "transport of copies" within Normal Change. They have a 4 system landscape (Dev > QA > Preprod > Prod). Is this feasible? Is there any documentation that you could point me to or share your personal experiences in previous implementations regarding this.

The primary reason for the client to stray away from TOC is that they perform their "System Integration" test in their Quality box. Their reservation is that when they are performing Integration tests the integrity of the test results could be compromised due to existing Transport of Copies in the system which may later be set back to "In Development". Hence they could be perfoming Integration testing on a system that is subject to change.

 

My response was to set the Mtc cycle to "Test" Phase to avoid any transport movement but due to their overlapping release cycles and development cycles it is not an option.

 

I have found a note that is related 1644036 and deals with errors while running Normal Change without TOCs but not with its setup.

 

I would really appreciate if you can share any SAP documentation on this.

Error when executing CBTA test script with External variant

I have created a test configuration using CBTA for tcode MM03. Test data container is created with external variant. i.e Text file contains VAR1 with values

 

I have assigned this test data container to script. When executing system throws error

Variant does not match selection

unable choose option in popup screen dynamically in cbta script execution

hai

 

I have recorded VA01 screen through CBTA , I have also recorded popup screen for choosing sale organisation,distribution channel and division

instead giving values to them in the first screen,

 

When I excute the script system always takes values in the first row  in the popup for sales organisation distribution channel and division.

 

How to change the change the row dynamically when executing script

 

I have found one CBTA default component called CBTA_GUI_GV_FINDROW . I do not how to pass parameters to this script>

Can anyone help me

Custom Code City Model “No SVG support”

Hello, In the SolMan workcenter Custom Code Management Overview screen the City Model says “No SVG Support”. I’ve tried it on different SP12 SolMan systems on different PC’s with different IE versions. I’ve tried adding the site to compatibility views, changed the F12 Document Modes. I tried to download the Adobe SVG viewer but it is not supported since 2009. Has anyone gotten their SP12 system to display the City Mode? Thank you, David

Solman 7.1 Reporter not picked automatic while user create incident

While my end user creating a incident request,the reporter not picked up default in solman_workcenter (It's  showing empty)  then i have to manually add the reporter.

solman 7.0 to 7.1 upgrade issue in execution Phase

Hello All,

 

 

we are facing an issue (execution phase) while doing solman upgrade from 7.0 to 7.1 SP08

 

 

My kernel version 721 300 level

 

 

I have tried few methods to overcome this issue

 

 

1) we are performing Upgrade on clone machine copy of production system (Clone machine its not in domain)

but production system solman 7.0 has installed in domain

 

 

2)Given full authorization for sid<adm>, even its not deleting dll files

 

 

3)tried manually deleted dllfiles, if i run next step, asking another dll files to delete

Hi Experts,

 

We are upgrading Solution Manager 7.1 SP8 to 7.1 SP12. I have few Queries related to these.

 

1. After Up gradation, Do I need to perform   System Preparation, Basic Configuration, and Managed System Configuration steps once again? or I need to perform only the effected steps.

 

2. We have already Setup, Technical Monitoring currently, Does this get effected after upgrading Solman to 7.1 SP12.

 

3. Do we need to Install the Diagnostic agent also to latest version, After upgrading Solution Manager to 7.1 SP12.

 

4. What Steps we need to take care of, after upgrading Solution Manager 7.1 to SP12.

 

Any Help will be highly appreciated.
