a very high level architectural question.
I would like to activate Job Request Form in order to enable my users to open request to me for create /change/ delete job documentation.
From SAPHelp I read I have to activate Service Desk scenario.
From note Note 1111310 - Job Scheduling Management: Extended Configuration I see I have to activate BC settings

Both actions are mandatory or they are mutually exclusive?
Can you suggest me a Basic guide for SD basic implementation?
Release is 7.0 but in a few months we'll upgrade to 7.1.
