ChaRM ZMMJ - Change object ID not getting created

ChaRM gurus,

We copied SMCR and SMMJ to customZMCR and ZMMJ transactions.

Everything works great if I use standard SMCR to create Request for change documents, upon approval we get SMMJ - Normal change documents created fine from within SMCR transaction.

When we use ZMCR to create Request for change documents, upon approval we are expecting ZMMJ - Normal change documents to be created. The Change object ID/number is not getting assigned. It stays blank.

If I create a ZMMJ - Normal change document directly (not from ZMCR) then this gets created successfully.

I checked the below:

1. Number ranges are looking good as I can create a ZMMJ document directly.

2. Approval procedure has no issues

3. Predessor and successor document statuses are looking good

4. Copy Control rules are defined (added ZMMJ under ZMCR properly)
