How to use F2 Functionality on MAC OS of Apple

Hi there,

I need to know, how do we use the F2 functionality on MAC OS.

As per my knowledge, we can use F2 functionality on internet explorer on majority of Windows OS, to check the Technical Information about an object, but I need to know, what is the shortcut key, or any other way to check the Technical information on MAC OS of Apple.
